“Hunter Gather-her" is an experimental dance film for Brooklyn-based electronic artist Conrad Clifton. The film is a choreographed by Emma Chadwick and speaks to the duality of opposing masculine and feminine energies, manifested in the performances of Marcus Braggs and Angeliq Brock. Vocals sampled from South African healer, Credo Mutwa, narrate the film and remind us of our matriarchal history and the vital roles women played as powerful decision makers and revered leaders.
